Masala Chai

INGREDIENTS                                            INSTRUCTIONS


  • 1.5 cups water 1. Boil water in medium saucepan. Add ginger

  • 1 tsp ginger piece and boil for 2~3 minutes.

  • 1 small cinnamon stick 2. Then add cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns

  • 2 cloves and cardamom, let boil for another 2 minutes

  • 10 peppercorns 3. Add your black tea (any black tea will

  • 2 green cardamom pods, split work, pick your favorites). Turn heat down

  • 1 tsp Darjeeling tea 4. Add sugar and milk. Turn heat to high and let

  • 1 tsp Wagh Bakri tea it come back to a boil

  • 1 tsp Lopchu tea 5. Stay near stove and when it comes to boil,

  • 2 tsp sugar turn down heat to avoid overflow

  • 1/2 cup milk 6. Turn down heat and let simmer for 2~3

                                                                  minutes.

                                                                  7. Stain through fine mesh strainer into your                                              favorite cup
